We may be just days into Celebrity Big Brother’s return but we’re already seeing tensions brew. Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu snapped at Coronation Street's Colson Smith, before RHOCheshire icon Lauren Simon was left in tears after being put up for eviction.
And when it comes to CBB, we’re far from done with the drama. Opening up to Closer, series 21 housemate Jess Impiazzi shared how the show’s producers will always find a way to stir the pot.
On any potential clashes that could be brewing, Jess said, “Most people seem to be getting on so far – but Big Brother will do something to make those clashes happen! They’ll bring out a little box and be like, 'Oh, ask this question,' or 'play this video.'
"There’s always something. It’s interesting to watch, but I just hope it stays in a place where people can respect each other.”
Appearing on the show back in 2018, Jess saw her fair share of feuding when it came to her fellow housemates. In one scene, series winner Courtney Act clashed with Ann Widdecombe – venting to Kardashians pal Malika Haqq, “Ann was the one rolling her eyes like a slot machine.”
In another scene, housemate Ashley James was also reduced to tears after butting heads with Ann after the politician accused her of "trying to impose all the time" during a debate. An emotional Ashley later opened up in the bedroom, saying “I feel like Ann and Amanda are constantly horrible.”
Of course, we’d be emotional too if we were locked in a house 24/7.
Now, Jess says that some arguments are bound to happen - with the house leaving many on edge.
“When you’re in that house, you’re in a bubble. Something that wouldn’t normally bother you in the slightest can upset you, because you’ve got nothing else to think about! It heightens everything in a way that it normally wouldn’t outside," she said.
And when it comes to her final four, Jess knows who she’d like to see make it all the way.
“Louis, Levi Roots, and I would like to see Fern Britton – just because she’s been around for so long and she’s got a good heart.”
Jess Impiazzi was speaking to Closer on behalf of Heart Bingo.
