Once a TOWIE cast member, always a TOWIE cast member - at least according to the followers of Fran Parman. The reality TV star may have left the life of Essex (officially) over two years ago but fans of the show are constantly hoping for a return from Diags' ex.
Fran first joined the show in 2014 as James 'Diags' Bennewith's roommate and had hopes of a relationship with Tom Pearce (throwback) but she moved onto Diags after things fizzled out with Tom, and they were together for a few years.
It wasn't all smooth sailing, especially after she discovered he had dirty pictures of another woman in his phone, but they made things work before eventually called time on their relationship in 2017.
Apart from a brief (but awkward) return to TOWIE in 2020, Fran hasn't been seen on our screens in six years but fans will just not let the idea of her making a comeback to the iconic series go.
During a recent Instagram Q&A, Fran took the opportunity to tell her followers that the likelihood of her returning to the reality show is sadly slim to none.
She said, "This is no hatred, nastiness, disrespect, but imagine leaving a job that you left like five years ago and people keep constantly bringing it up and you're like, 'That was my past'."
Fair enough Fran, we certainly do not want to discuss what we were up to five years ago - and especially what we looked like.
Fran went on to say, "I'm grateful for the doors it has opened for me, but it's my past. I don't need to be talking about a job I did five years ago. Put yourself in my shoes; no hate, no nastiness, I'm just trying to make you guys kind of realise."
This isn't the first time Fran has been quizzed about her TOWIE return. Fran previously told her followers (when asked the same question for the hundredth time) "You know in your life you have chapters? That chapter in my life is done honey."
Here's to hoping this is the final time Fran addresses the rumours, as I think we can all agree she is done with TOWIE. Read it and weep guys, read it and weep.
