It's going to be a white Christmas for the residents of Nonnatus House in this year's festive Call the Midwife special...
Call the Midwife's Christmas special is one of the highlights of the festive TV listings, and this year's special is set in the Big Freeze of the winter of 1962 to 1963.
"We were given an incredible historical gift because Boxing Day 1962 was the first day of the Big Freeze," explained writer and creator Heidi Thomas.
This episode is going to be a real winter wonderland, packed with snowmen, stockings and lots of lovely festive traditions.
The Big Freeze saw a whopping two feet of snow in London, with water pipes freezing and many people unable to leave their homes, and elsewhere the snow didn't melt for three months!
But enough reminiscing! Here are some cheeky Call The Midwife Christmas special spoilers...
