Brendan Cole was axed from Strictly Come Dancing this year
Strictly Come Dancing is set to return in a matter of weeks but one person who isn't going anywhere near the latest series is Brendan Cole who has reportedly been banned from going near the set.
Eek!
Earlier this year the professional dancer confirmed he was booted from the show during an appearance on Lorraine. He explained: "The BBC haven’t renewed my contract. We get contracted year upon year.
"They’ve made an editorial decision to not have me back on the show. I’m a little bit in shock. I’m quite emotional, a bit raw about it."

It looks like Brendan and the BBC bosses are not on good terms because according to The Sun, the 42-year-old has been banned from going near the Strictly Come Dancing set.
An insider told them: "Execs know a number of the dancers are still friendly with Brendan so have issued a firm ‘no’ on anyone having ideas that he will come down to the studios on their friends and family lists.
"They don’t want any awkward moments and want the professionals to focus on giving the best they can to the show rather than being distracted by people from the past."
They went on to say it might be "confusing" for the audience and they don't want it to "fuel talk" that he might be returning.
Eek!
This comes after Brendan was forced to deny claimshe was BANNED from messaging dancer Jenna Lee-Jamesamid reports that there was trouble in his marriage with his wife Zoe Hobbs.
UPDATE: A Strictly Come Dancing representative has denied the claims in a statement and said: "Brendan is part of the Strictly family, and no one has ever said he can’t be at rehearsals."
