Although everyone – and we mean EVERYONE – expected TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise to strike up a romance with Love Island legend Chris Hughes when they entered the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month, that turned out not to be the case.
In a turn of events that we definitely didn’t see coming, Chris instead formed an unusual flirty friendship with Dance Moms child star turned pop sensation JoJo Siwa and, frankly, Ella didn’t seem too happy about it. In fact, she accused the Love Island 2017 star of ‘playing a game’ by growing close to JoJo and even hinted that she’d heard some unsavoury stories about Chris from mutual acquaintances.
Ella didn’t reveal who she’d spoken to or exactly what they’d told her, but Chris’ Love Island ex Olivia Attwood has now revealed that she’d previously opened up to Ella about her former flame during their time on TOWIE together.

Speaking out about the house drama in a TikTok video, Olivia told her followers, ‘There is two sides to every story, but I guess my side, I told Ella when I was on TOWIE, just to give more context to the situation, what she knows.
‘Some people, very few people, go on reality TV and they're 100 percent themselves, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and they are the same on or off camera. However, other people go on reality TV and they are one person and then when you experience them off camera, it’s literally like shapeshifters.’

The video then cut before Olivia returned to the screen and continued, ‘Okay, I just had to delete the end of that because I’m going to get in trouble, I’m just going to cause loads of s**t. There’s nothing that I need to say that needs to be said now, it can be said another time when I’m ready.’
Things only got shadier in the comments when one of Olivia’s followers branded Chris ‘manipulative’ and she replied, ‘Like people love to make out I was the problem 🤣.’
In another response, Olivia wrote, ‘I hope JoJo has a good support system around her – like I did.’
Chris and Olivia coupled up on the third series of Love Island in 2017 and made it to the final. They continued dating for seven months before going their separate ways. She’s now married to footballer Bradley Dack.
