She may have just left TOWIE, but Chloe Brockett will be back on our screens very soon when she appears on Celebrity Ex on the Beach.
It was recently revealed that Chloe will join James Lock, her former co-star she had a fling with, and Yazmin Oukellou, Lockie’s ex-girlfriend and Chloe’s former friend, on the show and we can’t wait to see what goes down.
However, it looks like Chloe won’t be on Celebrity Ex on the Beach for very long as it's been reported last that she quit after just five days.
It was claimed that Chloe packed her bags and flew home to Essex due to “friction” with some of the other cast members, which include Love Island’s Paige Turley, Finn Tapp and Joe Garratt.
But when we caught up with Chloe ahead of the series premiere, she revealed the real reason she decided to quit the show and it’s actually quite nice.
“I left because I thought [Yazmin] and Lockie needed time to speak together without me there and I just think it was really awkward,” she exclusively told Closer.
Chloe added, “I got a bit nervous when he was coming in because I felt like Yazmin and him needed to speak. Obviously, they lived together, they had this life together and obviously me and James didn’t.
“So, I think it was just best that I left when I did because it allowed them to have the time that they needed.”
Back in 2021, Chloe told Closer that she’d fallen out with Yaz off-screen, and things went from bad to worse when her fling with Lockie came to light, and it seems that things get emotional when the girls come face-to-face in the EOTB villa.
“I was a bit shocked that she was upset when I walked in, but I apologised again for what happened, but it was years and years ago so I was sort of past talking about it,” Chloe explained.
As for how things are between Chloe and Yaz now, the reality star-turned-podcast host teased a “heated” row between them in the villa, but told us “it is what it is”.
She said, “I think maybe I was a little bit naive to think that we could put our issues aside and just be friends. Obviously, there's a lot more feelings there on Yaz’s part than there is on mine because she was with him for a longer time.
“So yeah, there's no bad feeling towards Yazmin on my behalf.”
