Their 10-year relationship has been far from smooth sailing and last week TOWIE's Billi Mucklow and Andy Carroll hit the headlines once again after the former England footballer was reportedly filmed cuddling up to another woman.
Andy, 34, had been out with friends at a bar in Essex before heading to a house party with DJ Kitty McPaws, whose real name is Georgia Sims. Onlookers said, “He caressed her bum. It was very flirty.”
Insiders say former TOWIE star Billi, 35, was furious about the situation, telling Closer, “Billi was livid over the pictures. Andy totally denies any wrongdoing at all – he’s assured her that nothing happened and that he was just on a night out with his mates, which ended up carrying on and that it was all just innocent fun – but Billi wasn’t happy.
“She’s told Andy in no uncertain terms that things need to change, that he needs to be more careful and aware of how things look – especially when he’s with his mates, some of whom are single and enjoy trying to chat up girls.”
Andy and Billi began dating in the summer of 2013 and following a whirlwind romance, got engaged in November 2014 during a romantic holiday in Rome. The pair then welcomed their first child, Arlo, eight, in June 2015. Their second son, Wolf, five, was born in 2017, with daughter Marvel Mae, two, then born in 2020, adding to Andy’s two children – Emilie, 13, and Lucas, 12 – from his previous relationship with former fiancée Faye Johnstone.
The pair eventually tied the knot in the summer of 2022, in an extravagant ceremony at the Four Seasons in Hampshire. But there was doubt the pair would make it down the aisle after photos emerged of the footballer passed out in bed between two women on his stag do in Dubai.
And it seems that Andy hasn’t learned from his previous mistakes with sources adding, “At the end of the day they are married now and although Billi has never been the kind of person to tell Andy what he can and can’t do, she doesn’t want to be looking at pictures of her husband involved with things like that.”
They continue, “Andy’s never going to be the type of guy who’s tucked up in bed on a Saturday night at 9pm. He works hard as a footballer and he’s a great dad, but he likes to play hard, too.
“At the same time, he knows he needs to make sure he doesn’t upset Billi again. It was really hard with everything that happened before the wedding and the pictures brought a lot of those thoughts back, so it’s little wonder Billi felt upset by it all.
“Andy has assured her it won’t happen again. He’s going to be on his best behaviour when he goes out now and is determined not to allow himself to get into a situation like that again. As long as that happens, Billi and Andy will move on and be fine.”
