She’s grown up on our screens – and with the new season of TOWIE arriving this month, fans are ready to see more of Amy Childs. Sharing one-year-old twins Billy and Millie with partner Billy Delbosq, 40, as well as son Ritchie Jr, six, and daughter Polly, seven, from previous relationships, Amy now tells Closer that this season will be her most emotional yet.
How are you and the twins?
Billy is trying to get up, but he’s really wobbly on his feet. Millie is crawling everywhere. You can’t leave them for a second. It’s full on having four kids, but I wouldn’t change it.
How is Polly?
Polly is like my best friend. She helps with the babies. We recently found out that she’s dyslexic, and I was a little bit tearful. I got diagnosed at five, and struggled at school. But she’s coming on amazingly.
What does Polly think of TOWIE now she’s getting older?
She’s watching the first season! She loves seeing me on the telly, it makes her day.
How was filming?
I’ve had quite a few emotional scenes. When someone else starts crying, I start crying. I don’t think I’ve cried so much on a series!
How is Harry Derbidge doing after his split from his fiancé, Joe Blackman?
Joe is a part of our lives, and me and Harry are like brother and sister – it has been tough seeing them like this. I’m there for both of them.
How’s it been filming with Lauren Goodger?
We’ve been through everything together, and now we’re older and wiser.
What else can viewers expect to see?
Me and Bill discussing getting married – we have to really think about it. I wake up and go, “I’m going to have a small wedding. No, I’m going to have a massive wedding.” I want it to be amazing. They’ll definitely film it!
TOWIE returns Sunday 25 August at 9pm on ITVBe & ITVX
