We have never thought of Strictly Come Dancing as a particular dramatic show when it comes to cast feuds and fallouts but recently the Strictly drama has been drama-ing.
Of course, there is the 'Strictly curse' that haunts the celebs and dancing professionals every season, but that's almost an urban myth nowadays and hasn't been a real issue since the Katya Jones x Seann Walsh x Neil Jones cheating scandal of 2018.
However, a certain professional dancer has been hitting headlines as of late and it has everyone thinking the Strictly team aren't all smiles, sequins and cha-cha-cha.
Giovanni Pernice, who has been part of the entertainment show since 2015, has been facing backlash regarding his training techniques with several of his former partners coming forward to voice their thoughts on the matter.
The plot thickens in the Giovanni drama as it turns out the Italian champion is no longer followed on social media by fellow Strictly profesh, Vito Coppola and we have QUESTIONS.
Have these two never been social media pals? Were they Instagram buddies and unfollowed each other amid the Strictly scandal? Is it because Giovanni hates neon pink trousers? Is Vito wanting to be the hottest Strictly dancing professional?
Nobody knows.
It all comes after actress Amanda Abbington – who was matched with Giovanni on last year's series of Strictly – apparently took legal action against the Sicilian dancer amid claims their training sessions left her suffering with PTSD.
Both Vito and Giovanni are still following several of their other fellow Strictly dancers including Gorka Marquez, Nikita Kuzman and Dianne Buswell so it is rather suspect that they do not follow each other.
Strictly Come Dancing won't be back on our screens until the autumn which means the two dancing dream boats have the summer to work out their issues, if there are any, that is.
We have a sneaking suspicion by the time Strictly 2024 comes around Giovanni and Vito will at least be social media acquaintances, if not, get ready for some extremely awkward group dances complete with side eye – and maybe some accidental tripping.
