X Factor: Mel B brands Louis Walsh a ‘wimp’ after sing-off outcome

Mel B lost another of her boys during Sunday night's X Factor results, and she was NOT happy.

Scary Spice now only has one contestant left in the show, after Paul Akister was given the boot.

The 39-year-old later hit out at fellow judge Louis Walsh after he sent the sing-off between Paul and Jay James to deadlock, claiming he couldn't pick.

Appearing on The Xtra Factor, Mel fumed: "I think that's wimping out a bit to be honest. You have a feeling of who you think is worthy of staying in the competition and you have that choice.

"People clearly aren't voting for the right people. That sing-off was incredible. Both of them sounded amazing. I am gutted for Paul. He is in my dressing room right now and I can't say anything to console him. It should never have happened like that."

She now has only one act remaining, Andrea Faustini

But Louis is taking none of the blame. He defended himself, saying: "I brought it to deadlock to see what the public thought. Both of them were amazing in the sing-off. Both of them were incredible and I wanted to see what the public thought. Both were really, really good. That's the problem."

Mel is now left with only Andrea Faustini, despite her category being originally tipped as the one to beat.

Simon Cowell, 55, still has all of his over 25s remaining: Fleur East, Stevi Ritchie, Jay James and Ben Haenow.
