With only Simon Cowell supposedly returning to the X Factor for the next series of the singing contest, there’s still three seats to fill on the judging panel.
So far, there’s been speculation that Louis Walsh will be returning alongside Nicole Scherzinger, who’s pulled out of West End musical Cats.
And now Betway bookies are quoting 3/1 odds for Adele to be the next judge announced for the ITV show.
Previous judges from the show are also in the rankings, with Sharon Osbourne ranking very high:
-
Sharon Osbourne (1/6)
-
Louis Walsh (1/5)
-
Nicole Scherzinger (1/2)
-
Gary Barlow (7/4)
-
Tulisa Contostavlos (50/1)
However, other current music artists like Tinchy Stryder and Ed Sheeran are also in the bookies line up with odds of 25/1.
Alan Alger from Betway told the Express: “At 3/1, Adele is the shortest price of the newcomers being backed. She is sure to draw in the big audiences that Simon Cowell desires and is not without her supporters in the betting.”
And for the X Factor spin-off on ITV2, there have been rumours that Rylan Clarke-Neal could be replacing Melvin Odoom.
Previously speaking about the possibility, Rylan said: “My ultimate dream would be to present X Factor.
“To go from contestant to presenting would be a tick in my box.”
A source has claimed that Rochelle Humes will be returning to host the Xtra Factor and told The Sun that there “could be a situation where Rochelle covers auditions on her own in the way Caroline Flack sometimes did when she was hosting with Olly Murs.”
