If you're a die-hard Disney fan you're gonna want to read this, because Disney have just confirmed that all of their movies are connected to each other, and detailed exactly how.

In the past we've heard plenty of rumours that some of the characters are connected. In fact, just earlier this month Chris Buck, co-director of Frozen and Tarzan, confirmed the fan theory that Tarzan is in fact the long lost brother of Frozen's Anna and Elsa.

Back in September we rounded up ALL the Disney character crossovers from Aladdin to Finding Dory, and we thought we'd spotted them all, but now a few more have been brought to our attention.

In a video posted on the official Toy Story Facebook page, Disney have detailed exactly how all the characters are connected and could potentially live in the exact same universe. Throughout the clip it shows how Pixar characters feature in other movies - from Monster's Inc, Cars and the Incredibles, to some of the newer films such as Finding Dory, Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur.

For instance, did you know Riley from Inside Out pops up in Finding Dory? Or Brave's Princess Merida is in the Cars movie? No? Neither did we!

And we're not the only ones. Lots of people are surprised at the theory, one person commented: "When you question your entire identity as a die hard Pixar fan. I knew way too little of these. I'm so ashamed. THE RILEY ONE IN FINDING DORY THOUGH!"

Another person said: " Absolute amazing. You never see this as you watch the films. Some things are noticeable others make you want to watch the films so you can see for yourself"

Someone else wrote: "A lot of these I knew, but not all of them - I didn't notice Riley in Finding Dory, and I legit didn't notice Forrest Woodbrush in Inside Out until I rewatched it again just last night. That's one reason of many why I love Pixar, there's all these things they put in that make their movies just as much fun to watch over and over again."

While this is the first time Disney have confirmed it - the theory that all the Pixar characters could (and probably do) exist in the same universe first appeared in a Youtube video back in 2014.

We tell you what - we're going to be paying A LOT more attention next time we see a Disney flick!
