While the cause is indeed very serious, Simon couldn't help but giggle as he prepared to be covered in the icy water.

Of course, being Simon Cowell, and judging by the background, he was on a boat somewhere lovely and hot (probably Barbados) so we can't imagine he was cold for too long.
