The ALS Association is a charity for those suffering with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a disease which affect nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

In order to raise awareness and money for this important cause, people all over the world have been pouring buckets of icy cold water over their heads, donated money and then challenged their friends to do the same in 24 hours.

Everyone from Justin Timberlake to 90201's Shenae Beech have taken part, sharing their videos on social media.

But now David Beckham has stepped in. The retired footballer, 39, was nominated by presenter Ryan Seacrest.

David uploaded the video of him being dunked to Facebook and, just to make it more enjoyable for the fans, he forgot to wear a top.

Then he nominated Michael Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio. Because, when you're David Beckham, those people are your friends.

Anyway, the great thing about celebrities getting involved is it means this worthy cause is reaching millions of people.
