The nation's favourite show Gogglebox is RETURNING - and this time we'll be hearing STRICTLY from teenagers in their own spin-off show
Our day has pretty much been made at the news that there's going to be a teenage version of Channel 4's hit show Gogglebox.
If you're anything like us, there's nothing better than a Friday night when you have a takeaway and you sit down as a family and watch Gogglebox – seriously is anything better?
Good news Gogglebox fans, it has now been reported that there's going to be a spin-off of the Channel 4 show that will see teenagers watch television shows and viral videos on their phones and tablets.
Talk about keeping up with the youth, ey?
There's a slight problem though, apparently TV bosses are finding it difficult to figure out a name for the show. According to The Sun, with the new spin-off show they're hoping to distance it from the actual Gogglebox programme so that younger people think it's cool.
Gogglebox uncool? Sorry, in what world?
At first bosses thought of Goggleteens but now they're reportedly thinking of changing it to Screen Time.
A source explained to the publication: "A teen version of Gogglebox has been a big priority for Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for a while now, especially after the success of kid spinoff Gogglesprogs, they're delighted it's finally happening.
"But it's not been without challenges. The name has caused a right dilemma."
Hmm, Screen Time - doesn't have the same ring to it as Goggleteen.
The brand-new show is set to air on our screens from next month so let's hope they've sorted the name out by then. Of course though, if it's anything like Gogglesprogs which saw kids first-time reaction to The Lion King, we think it'll be amazing.
