Her character Roxy Mitchell left the soap less than two weeks ago, but former EastEnders actress Rita Simons, has revealed that she's already stopped watching the show!

Tweeting to her 374k Twitter followers the actress, who joined the show in 2007, wrote: "Don't watch Enders anymore so forgive me if I'm misinformed. But from what I hear..is ANYONE mourning Roxy on the square? Poor cow 😭"

Eastenders fans quickly took to Twitter to fill Rita in, with many confirming that Roxy was indeed, not missed by fellow Walford residents...

Rita even liked this tweet:

But while Roxy may not be missed in Albert Square, Rita's fans were quick to reassure her that they were grieving the loss of one of their favourite characters...

After days of speculation, EastEnders viewers finally discovered the reason behind the Mitchell sister's death; Roxy suffered from a heart attack while she was in the swimming pool and Ronnie drowned trying to save her sister.

EastEnders fans will know that the Mitchell sisters were dogged by drama before their exit; Roxy started taking drugs, Ronnie and Jack planned to move to Ongar after their wedding without Roxy and just after everything was sorted things took a turn for the worst.
