Ryan is having fun in the sun with the cast of Neighbours
Former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, seems to be having a whale of a time Down Under as he films his final scenes on the set of Ramsay Street.
The actor, who shot to fame as Weatherfield’s Jason Grimshaw, has made some good friends since joining the soap for his guest stint including chum Matt Wilson, who plays the popular Aaron Brennan.
These new pix show the pair having a giggle in between takes. It’s not surprising Ryan’s smiling….. it certainly beats hanging around the Corrie cobbles listening to Norris blathering on about the price of fish!
A Neighbours insider said, “For someone with a big profile like Ryan, cast and crew have really been taken by surprise by the English star’s laidback and kind nature. He will be missed when he wraps up his guest role at the end of the week.”
Hey, all good things come to an end and we bet Ryan can't wait to pack his suitcase to return to the shores of grey and cold Blighty! Whoo hoo!
Viewers will have wait until next February to see the star, who has a daughter Scarlett, with his Corrie ex, Tina O’Brien, on screen in the Channel 5 soap.
Meanwhile, his Ramsay street alter-ego, Rafael Humphreys, has been described as a loner with dark secrets who turns up in Erinsborough to confront a difficult chapter from his past……oooh the intrigue!
Channel 5 commissioning editor Greg Barnett added, “His arrival in Erinsborough marks the start of darker times for a particular Ramsay Street favourite. Prepare to be gripped.” We’re prepared Greg, we’re prepared!
