Are Whit and Woody on the rocks when a pal of Whitney’s ex, shows up in Walford?
Poor Whit’s love life has always been a tangled mess. She’s rushed from one engagement to another with a few troublesome snogs with inappropriate men tossed in for good measure along the way.
Recently she seems to have found happiness with Woody but once again she's rushed into putting a ring on it and is now hurtling towards an aisle!
However the engaged couple end up on the rocks next week when her ex hubby, Lee’s, old mucker Moose turns up in Walford.
The Carters are pleased to see their son’s fun-loving former army mate and Whitney has a definite twinkle in her eye too…let’s not forget it was Moose who comforted Whit when her marriage to Lee hit the buffers.
However one person who’s not so overjoyed by Moose’s sudden arrival is Woody. The barman is simmering with jealousy when it’s clear there’s a connection between his gorgeous fiancé and Lee’s mate and his buttons are well and truly pressed when Moose blatantly flirts with Whit.
“Whitney finds Moose hilarious and laughs at all of his jokes, which Woody doesn’t like at all”, says Shona McGarty who plays her. “Whitney soon realises that Woody is jealous and she tells him to stop being so silly.”
However it all hits the fan when Moose later lets slip to Woody that Whitney’s divorce papers from Lee have just come through before she’s had the chance to break the important news herself.
As the two men square up to eachother and Woody confronts his fiancé it’s not long before Whit sees a side of her man that she really doesn’t like.
Shona explains, “Not only is he jealous but she also finds him a little bit controlling and needy and she really doesn’t like that”.
Oh dear. It looks like cheeky Moose’s arrival has caused quite a problem for the couple who are due to get hitched.
As the cracks in their relationship start to show, is their romance on the rocks? And if it all goes wrong for Woody and Whit, could a keen Moose be waiting in the wings?
