Last night was one of the biggest nights of the TV year.
The 22nd National Television Awards took place at the O2 Arena presented by none other than the lovely Dermot O'Leary, with backstage presenting by the even lovelier Scarlett Moffatt.
You won't be surprised to find out that Ant & Dec won the TV presenter award - sorry for the spoilers, but you knew it anyway.
National Television Awards 2017 winners
Entertainment Programme
Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway
The first of the duo's THREE wins of the night, Ant & Dec bagged the Best Entertainment Programme against Celebrity Juice, The Graham Norton Show and The Last Leg. Well done fellas!
Drama Performance
Sarah Lancashire
Ms. Lancashire's turn as Catherine Cawood won her the Best Drama Performance ahead of Cillian Murphy for his role as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders, Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria in Victoria, and Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine in the BBC adaptation of John Le Carré's The Night Manager.
Factual Entertainment
Gogglebox
Who would have thought we'd love watching people on telly watch telly so much? But we do! Gogglebox was up against DIY SOS: The Big Build, Making A Murderer, Paul O'Grady: For The Love Of Dogs and Tattoo Fixers.
Serial Drama Performance
Lacey Turner (EastEnders)
A tough category to call, this one. Lacey Turner won Best Serial Drama Performance as Stacey Slater in Eastenders, but she was up against Danny Miller for his performance as Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale, Jack P Shepherd for his performance as David Platt in Coronation Street and Natalie J Robb for her performance as Moira Barton in Emmerdale.
Comedy
Mrs Brown's Boys
This win was a bit controversial, as booing could be heard as the cast accepted their award. Don't worry - they didn't! It was just a clip from the show. Phew. Brendan O'Carroll's show won over Benidorm, Orange Is The New Black and The Big Bang Theory.
TV Judge
Mary Berry
This was yet another one we were a bit unsure about. It was a toss up between Mary and Len Goodman - as this has been his last year on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel as the Head Judge. We were pleased Mary won though, she was in utter shock bless her! You deserve it, Mary.
Daytime
The Chase
We don't know about you, but ALL of the nominations are perfect for days when you're so ill you can't speak, and all you can do is burrito yourself in your duvet and watch TV all day. The Chase was a worthy winner, but we applaud their rivals, too: Come Dine With Me, Pointless and The Jeremy Kyle Show.
Period Drama
Call The Midwife
Again, we loved all the nominees in this category: Peaky Blinders, Poldark, Stranger Things, Victoria... But it was definitely the year for Call The Midwife.
Live Magazine
This Morning
Was anything ever going to win against This Morning? We feel like Holly and Phil are literally our best friends. Commiserations to their fellow nominees: BBC Breakfast, Loose Women, Sunday Brunch and The One Show.
Newcomer
Faye Brookes (Coronation Street)
Faye won the Best Newcomer award for her performance as Kate Connor, sister of Aidan played by Shayne Ward against Duncan James for playing Ryan Knight on Hollyoaks, Lloyd Everitt as Jez Andrews in Casualty and Tilly Keeper as Louise Mitchell in EastEnders.
TV Presenter
Ant & Dec
Was this ever under any kind of uncertainty? Ant & Dec's win for Best TV Presenter makes this the 16th time they have won the award. SIXTEEN TIMES. They were up against Gary Lineker, James Corden, Mel and Sue and Rylan Clark-Neal.
Special Recognition
Graham Norton
This award always makes us a bit emotional. Don't say you didn't have watery eyes at this one! It's the lovely film they put together of his best moments throughout his career... Oh heck, here we go again.
Drama
Casualty
We must say, we were a bit surprised that Game Of Thrones didn't win this one - purely and simply because of the sheer amount of people who absolutely love it! It just goes to show how many Casualty-lovers there are out there, too. The hospital show also won against Happy Valley and The Night Manager.
Challenge Show
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
This was another tough call - I'm A Celeb! was up against The Great British Bake Off, in its last year as we know it. Who KNOWS what will happen when it moves to Channel 4! Other nominees were Love Island, MasterChef and The Apprentice.
Serial Drama
Emmerdale
This one is one of the most anticipated awards of the night. Of course, it's always between Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Eastenders and Hollyoaks. However, Emmerdale have really knocked it out of the park this year - especially with their sensitive yet realistic portrayal of dementia by John Middleton as Ashley Thomas.
Talent Show
Strictly Come Dancing
Come on, Len had to win SOMETHING in his last year! Strictly was up against Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor. We're just waiting with baited breath to find out who will replace him as Head Judge...!
