Holly Willoughby caused a lot of concern yesterday after she said that she understood how a woman who was cheated on by her husband felt.
Holly, who has been married to TV producer Dan Baldwin for nine years recently celebrated their anniversary by uploading a cheeky snap.
The pair married in 2007 and have three adorable children together – Harry, Belle and Chester.
But while on This Morning, Holly and Phillip Scofield interviewed an anonymous mother who had discovered her husband of ten years had been cheating on her with a man. And Holly made a comment which raised eyebrows.
The mum, who remained anonymous throughout revealed: "I believed he suffered from depression, there were moments that he would go missing.
"Everything else was at it should be, he was a good father and he made a lot of effort to make me feel important and wanted when I was around."
The mum, who was a busy city worker explained that as she left home early and usually got home late, she didn’t know what he was doing, until one day it clicked: "I was a Samaritan at the time and I was talking to a number of people in his position and the more they were telling me the more I suddenly realised this was happening in my own home."
At this point, Holly said: "This sounds like my life," before proceeding to continue with the interview.
But viewers quickly caught on to what she had said, taking to social media to question what she meant. One Facebook user asked: "Did she say 'sounds like my life'!? Hopefully she’s talking about the past and not the present!"
Someone else commented: "No man in their right mind would cheat on her. They would be mad."
A source cleared up the rumours, telling The Sun: "Holly was just finishing the guest’s sentence when she said 'it sounds like my life'.
"She was engaging with her guest and empathising just like she always does."
Ahh! Makes sense.
Indeed, the 35-year-old recently revealed that she’d love to have a fourth child.
