Mollie King’s nerves are ramping up ahead of the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Former The Saturdays singer Mollie has signed up to appear on this year’s season of the BBC ballroom dance contest and her ex bandmate Frankie Bridge, who finished runner-up on the programme in 2014, says she’s starting to panic about learning the dance routines.
On seeing Mollie on the show, an excited Frankie told television presenter Christine Bleakley during an appearance on Lorraine today: “I can’t wait. I’m not surprised at all. When I was doing it, (professional dance partner) Kevin Clifton sometimes came to work with me and she always wanted to have a go.

“She’ll look amazing in those costumes. She finds it a little bit harder to pick things up and that’s what she’s panicking about.
“I was like, please just enjoy it because it’ll be over so soon. I wish I could do it every year!”
Mollie was the first contestant to be announced for the upcoming series ahead of its launch in September.
Revealing the news on Nick Grimshaw’s BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, she said: “I’m a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing so I can’t actually believe I’m lucky enough to be taking part in it this year!
“I’m literally so excited to learn Latin and ballroom dancing, and of course I can’t wait to get into the sequins too!”
