Hold on to your hats, Corrie fans – Michelle Keegan has set tongues wagging that she could be about to return to her iconic role as Tina McIntyre on the hit soap.
Michelle left the soap in 2014 after her character was thrown off a balcony by Rob Donovan. But everyone knows the unspoken rule in soapland: if you don’t see the body, you never know if a character is really dead.
Unfortunately Corrie viewers saw the tragic moment she passed away in hospital but this wouldn't be the first time we've seen the ghost of a resident return... In the past, Michelle has even said herself “never say never” when asked about returning to the soap.
And now she’s sparked speculation after filming herself visiting the set ahead of filming the Coronation Street Christmas special, and wrote on Instagram, "Look where I am... Feels like yesterday I was on these cobbles."
Fingers crossed this means what we think it means….

Michelle has certainly outgrown her Corrie roots in recent years, becoming one half of an A-list power couple with husband Mark Wright and taking on starring roles in Brassic and Our Girl.
But recent reports suggest that she could be about to try her hand at reality TV for the first time as Mark, who was one of the OG TOWIE cast way back in 2010, apparently wants to create his own fly-on-the-wall series about his blossoming football career.

Michelle Keegan tells pals she dreads going through another separation
“Mark’s admitted he misses reality TV from his TOWIE days and he’s keen to bag his own show,” a source told Closer. “He wants to highlight his talents and boost his public image, so he can turn himself into a sporting hero like David Beckham. He’s hoping to initially secure a three-part series that will document his ups and downs and show how devoted he is to achieving his goal, so fans can see he’s not just some millionaire reality star who gets everything offered on a plate.
“Mark’s a grafter and knows it’s not going to be easy. He wants cameras to capture everything, from the days where he feels defeated, to hopefully getting signed by a premiership team.”
