If you're a Corrie fan, you'll have been on an emotional rollercoaster of late.
The tragic stillbirth storyline currently airing with characters Steve MacDonald and Michelle Connor has brought viewers to tears every episode, and it doesn't look like this will stop any time soon.
The pair were recently spotted with their real life partners filming scenes in Anglesey, North Wales, for upcoming episodes in which Michelle and Steve tragically scatter the ashes of their son, Ruairi, who was born early at 23 weeks - at which point in the pregnancy, medical professionals will not try to save the baby.
As the on-screen couple struggle to deal with the tragedy that has struck their family, viewers have praised the performances of Kym Marsh and Simon Gregson who have both had real life experience of this heart-breaking issue.
Kym, who plays Michelle, suffered a late miscarriage herself eight years ago, whilst Simon, who plays Steve, recently revealed that his wife had suffered a heart-breaking 11 miscarriages - making this storyline even more emotional and poignant.
The cast and crew of Corrie were spotted in North Wales this week to film the touching farewell to their son as they scatter his ashes - and both had their partners on-hand to offer support. Simon's wife of seven years, Emma Gleave, and Kym's partner, Matt Baker, were in attendance at the shoot for the emotional scenes.
