Hollyoaks spoilers: Sylver McQueen is SHOT – will he make it?

The week begins with Bobby Costello getting an interview with a private school. Mercedes is left annoyed with her family when she believes no one has anything good to say about her. Later Liam Donovan shows Mercedes his vulnerable side by revealing how much he misses his dad.

He then decides to take her out for a date to the fairground. The pair get raunchy in Liam's car but things take a slight turn when Mercedes discovers a gun in the drawer.Sylver discovers Max and Bobby are not in school and after Bobby asks him to get his homework from The Dog, it comes to light that the little ones are scared of Liam being there.

Sylver picks up their homework and when he finds Liam's gun in his basg he flips and goes to kick Liam out. As things escalate a fight ensures and soon after the gun goes off…

Following their scuffle, they all discover that Sylver was shot. Mercedes asks Cleo to ring an ambulance but Sylver tells her not because he's worried Liam will frame Mercedes and she'll lose the kids. Poor Sylver is left lying in Mercedes arms – will anyone be able to save him?

Elsewhere in the village, Laurie and Sinead celebrate their one year anniversary together. Laurie surprises his wife with breakfast and documents to officially change Hannah's surname to Shelby.

Unfortunately Sinead has completely forgotten and asks Tony to help her make a lavish dinner as a present. When Laurie returns home he overhears Sinead telling Tony that Laurie can never found out about their affair…

In an attempt to avoid telling Laurie the truth, she tells her husband she thinks he's sleeping with Sienna. Laurie is left furious and tells her that maybe Hannah shouldn't have his last name.

Laurie returns to work and tells Sienna Blake about Sinead's accusation. She then invites her boss over to pizza with Brody and when Sienna turns up she's asked to stay too.

Later on, after seeing Sinead and her step-dad talking Laurie confronts him and Tony admits Sinead is worried he's sleeping with Sienna.

Laurie takes Hannah to school and asks Sienna to look after the little one but she's left in tears when Hannah asks her about her own children.

A jealous Sinead pulls out all the stops and tries to get into Laurie's emails at school. Things get awkward when Sienna and Laurie arrive in his office and Sinead is forced to hide under the desk.

Meanwhile, Liam asks Lisa Loveday out on a date to The Loft. Things appear to be going well and he wines and dines her, however it's not long before he starts accusing her of being Michael.

Joel steals drugs off Grace Black while she's a deal and he leaves her a white feather.Liam, inspired by his mum's faith, decides to turn to Joel for help in the hopes he can find strength in god.

Goldie McQueen also comes to the shocking realisation that Joel didn't return the stolen money. Oh boy...

Over to the Loveday household and Walter reveals he's staying in the village until he sees his granddaughter Lisa. Trying to get rid of him, she tells him that Lisa is out of town for work and he agrees to leave.

Cleo McQueen suggests to the rest of the family to have classier themed nights at The Dog but Nana McQueen has other ideas and hosts a stripper night instead.

It turns out that the stripper is in fact Mitchell and when he pulls Cleo on stage she runs off and falls. Later on in the week, Mitchell asks Cleo out on a date – what will she say?

Over to the Maalik household and Sami brings his dad's old stuff into the Emporium to sell.

Liberty offers to help out and is stunned when she discovers a music video he made with his friends when he was younger. She's even more shocked when she figures out that he's massive in Japan.

Liberity turns up at the Maalik's house and tells them Sami is a hit in Japan and could be owed a lot of money in royalties.
