The dad is reeling when his "killer" son shows up on his doorstep but is time running out for Amy's real murderer, Ryan?
Tony was dealt a huge shock when his son Harry turned up on his doorstep tonight.
The troubled dad has been in turmoil ever since his son Harry confessed to killing Amy Barnes. Now with Harry’s shock return to the village, is it only a matter of time before Amy’s real killer, copper Ryan is exposed?
Viewers recently saw a distraught Tony turf his son out of the family home following the killer confession but, following last week’s dramatic flash-back episode, we all know it was Ryan who dealt the fatal blow that left his wife-to-be Amy, bleeding from the head.
Is new evidence about to come to light that will leave Harry in the clear and see murderer Ryan have to face under close scrutiny from his police-colleagues?
Right now Tony is still convinced his son is the murderer and he’s stunned when after two weeks away, he suddenly shows up on his doorstep.
The distressed restauranteur tells him in no uncertain terms he’s not welcome, that he’s still a killer and he doesn’t want him living under his roof.
The emotional toll of turning his son away again is almost too much for Tony to bear but he feels he has no other choice
However is he about to discover just what hardship Harry has been suffering? Tony was sure that Harry was staying at his mum’s but the truth is much harsher. The rejected lad has been sleeping rough on the street and has been overwhelmed with guilt, still thinking it was him who killed Amy.
If Tony knew the sad truth would he have second thoughts about turning his back on his flesh and blood? When will he find out that Harry is innocent? And is killer Ryan on borrowed time?
