Mercedes McQueen was dealt another serious amount of heartbreak in Hollyoaks' Halloween Spooktacular - as her long-time love Joe Roscoe fell to his death as the terrifying fire, started by Cameron, claimed it's second victim.
Enjoying a ride on the Halloween Ferris Wheel Joe and (new) his fiancée Mercedes were stuck watching the aftermath of the intense maze fire unveil beneath them - the result of his ex Joanne stopping the maze in an act of revenge.
As Joe was reaching out to climb onto the cherry picker that was rescuing him and Mercedes from the halted ride, the Ferris Wheel's mechanics exploded and Joe fell to his death.
Understandably distraught, what will happen to Mercedes? And what will this mean for the Roscoe family? Will Mercedes seek revenge on Joanne?
