It's going to be a horrible(!!) week for the Albert Square folk, as a gas explosion will leave at least one person left for dead. A gas explosion! Blimey! See, EastEnders isn't just people arguing about potatos on a market stall.

During the Walford In Bloom celebrations, there is a deadly gas explosion which sends a massive fireball into horrified crowds. There are rumours circling that some of the residents will meet their grizzly end. Who could it be?

A source told The Sun that the scenes took months to prepare and called it a 'bold stunt'. Basically, it's going to be amazing telly.

"It’ll trigger a load of other storylines off the back of it, but the explosion itself will be a major talking point.

"Viewers will be left wondering whether it was set off on purpose or by accident, and bosses are staying tight-lipped about who will die but at least one is looking like they will."

Here are the first look images and it looks like Mitchells and the Fowlers are caught up in the danger.

So, who will die? Will it be Stephen Beale? We already know he's leaving the soap after the cast accidentally let it slip on Snapchat. But wasn't Max supposed to kill him for lying about his brain tumour?

We have so many questions.
