Pretty much everyone in the UK has at least HEARD of Gogglebox by this point.

And, with phenomenal viewing figures, the show which sits us down in people’s living rooms so that we can watch TV with them has proven to be a mega hit.

Whether you love Scarlett Moffatt’s hilarious one-liners, wish you could sit down with the Tapper family, or want to get drunk with Steph & Dom, every one has their very own special favourite Gogglebox character.

So it makes sense that plenty of UK viewers want to sign up for the show themselves.

Over the past few weeks, an image has been doing the rounds on Facebook and Twitter, sharing contact information for those wishing to apply for the show’s next series.

However we would advise that you don’t get your hopes up TOO high, because, if you DO send an application through to the email on the image, you get the following response:

“Thank you for your email.

“Unfortunately we do not accept applications to be on Gogglebox.”

It concludes simply: “We are aware that there is currently an old document being shared on social media that suggests otherwise, and we have requested that it be taken down.

“The Gogglebox production team apologise for any disappointment this may cause.”

We’re sorry, guys.
