Emmerdale fans are petrified that Ashley will die at the hands of Emma, as police ramp down harder on Emma's whereabouts on the day of the fatal crash (where she threw husband James Barton off a motorway bridge).

Police were seen asking the Barton family: "We're just trying to ascertain why he was wandering around the highway in just a suit and no shoes."

She lated cried to son Ross, saying she felt 'guilty' that she hated herself for letting him get out of the house alone.

With Emma's evil mind working overtime, fans are certain that it won't be too long before she ramps up her efforts to get rid of Ashley:
