As dress-rehearsals get underway, Rhona only has Paddy on her mind....

Aaah…look at Paddy with his sheet on his head and his stuck-on beard! Actually the facial hair kind of suits him. However, it’s not a look he’s going to be keeping for long.

Next week the vet gets all dressed up for the village nativity after stepping into the breach when rehearsals start to go badly wrong.

Poor Rhona has offered to be director for the festive show but when her little Mary and Joseph, (children April and Elliot), aren’t taking to the roles too well, she comes up with the idea of involving the adults too.

As the cast swings into action and everyone starts going through their lines, Rhona spends time with Paddy, who has a starring role as Joseph. But it’s clear, as Rhona gazes at her ex, she has more than Bethlehem, donkeys and mangers on her mind.

Will Paddy pick up on her not so subtle signals that she wants him back….or is he too preoccupied with getting into character!

And what would Chas, who just happens to be in the co-starring role as Mary, say if she knew that Rhona was keen to be re-united with her former lover.

Forget Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus trying to find an Inn for the night....with an Emmerdale love triangle in the offing we sense the real drama here is going to be behind the scenes!
