Mum Chrissie fears the worst when her tortured son goes missing….
Teen Lachlan has always been a loose cannon and an incredibly troubled loose cannon to put it mildly!
Next week his mum is in bits when her son vanishes. She’s distraught when she receives a text from him saying he’s never coming back and her fears turn to panic when Belle also receives a tearful voicemail message from Lachlan, saying he’s gone for good.
The unsettling drama kicks off when alarm bells start ringing for Aaron.
Following Lachlan’s recent unstable behaviour, he feels he has to warn Belle just what her boyfriend is capable of – not only did Chrissie’s raging son almost harm his little cousin Seb but he also recently slept with a prostitute on his birthday.
However, when Aaron breaks the news to Belle, it’s more than a shamed Lachlan can bear and he does a sudden disappearing act.
Chrissie is terrified when her son sends her a farewell text message. “Lachlan claims that he’s not coming back and Chrissie assumes the worst”, says Louise Marwood who plays the long-suffering mum.
As the hunt for Lachlan gets underway and the police are informed, Chrissie’s panic starts to rise.
“She knows Lachlan is delicate and she’s concerned about what he’s capable of in terms of self-harm”, says Louise. “She assumes the worst and thinks he could have killed himself.”
She’s right to be worried! It’s clear Lachlan is in a very dark place.
Is he going to harm himself, or even worse, with all the turmoil he’s gone through and trouble he’s brought to his family, is he on the verge of taking his own life?
