Emmerdale fans have only just said goodbye to Andy Sudgen – aka Kelvin Fletcher – and now they'll have to say goodbye to another show favourite, James Barton.
Last month, Kelvin revealed the real reason he was leaving the show after 20 years on This Morning, he said:
"It's a decision to leave, with no discredit to the show – if anything it was because of their creativity which has given me a sense of confidence and I believed I could go on and do something else."
It was then he announced that Sophie Powles is rumoured to have already filmed her last scenes and now Bill Ward (who plays James Barton) is also leaving the Dales.
However, we're sure Emmerdale viewers will not be happy when they find out that later this year James is going to die in a dramatic storyline.
A source told The Sun: "The storyline is one of the channel's big priorities for the year and they have been desperately trying to keep it under wraps."
They added: "Emmerdale fans shouldn't get too attached to their favourites as you never know who's going to go next."
Eek!
This isn't the first time Bill will be killed off in an ITV soap. Back in 2007 Bill left Coronation Street after being killed by his girlfriend Tracey Barlow when she found out he was cheating with Maria Connor.

We're left wondering how James Barton will die.
We've recently seen James support Moira Barton throughout her marriage problems with Cain but it seems the pair will get a little too close when they end up kissing.
Bill Ward spoke to Radio Times about the character's kiss: "When Moira initiates it he doesn't back down.
"He does very briefly for a second but then he thinks 'Let's live for the moment'."
He later tells Moira that he loves her, although she tells him there's nothing between them.
What will Cain do when he finds out about the kiss?
What will James' wife Emma do when she finds out about the kiss?
Either way, we can't wait to see the storyline unfold.
