It's a devastating week in Emmerdale as Ashley Thomas is laid to rest. Read on for more spoilers from the Dales
Ashley Thomas' tragic dementia storyline and death has been one of the saddest, yet compelling Emmerdale storylines of all time. This week, the villagers say a final goodbye to their former vicar at his funeral. It's a difficult time for those closest to him, particularly Laurel and Gabby. Will they be able to hold it together while Ashley is laid to rest?
1. Ashley is laid to rest
It's a sad day in the village as Ashley's funeral finally takes place next Thursday. Bernice is worried about Gabby who is struggling over the loss of her father. She's not the only one, Laurel and Harriet are also finding it tough to keep it together. The villagers gather to say their final goodbye, but Gabby is still feeling resentful to Bernice, who she blames for not getting a private goodbye with her dad. Arthur tries to do a reading at the ceremony, but breaks down and runs off. Cain consoles Harriet who feels guilty over her shaky delivery of Ashley's service.
2. Ross blackmails Robert
Ross realises he has an oppotunity to extort some money from Robert and holds him to ransom. Meanwhile, Robert and Aaron are delighted to be reunited, but Aaron is feeling guilty about not being able to support Liv, while Sandra is bedbound. They head out on a picnic and have a great time, but on the way back to the village are distracted by some mind-blowing news. Robert suggests to Aaron that they could go and visit Liv. Will he manage to evade Ross and his demands for cash?
3. Victoria is broody...
Victoria is feeling queasy and hopes she is having morning sickness. She seeks out advice, but is she unwittingly uncovering someone else's secret? Hmmmm. Meanwhile, Adam spots the pregnancy test and tells Moira he's going to be a dad. Is he going to be disappointed? Erm, is the sky blue?
4. Debbie's jealous of Sarah and Faith
Debbie feels jealous about Faith and Sarah’s relationship. Faith and Rishi have a drink together at the Woolpack and all goes well until they head to the farm. Rishi moves in for a kiss but soon leaves when Faith tells him about her double mastectomy. The next day she confronts him over his behaviour - will his reaction confirm her suspicions? And will Sarah prove to be an ally for Faith?
