Emmerdale star Natalie J. Robb who plays Moira Barton has revealed whether her onscreen son Adam Barton will be killed off the ITV soap or not
We were all devastated earlier this year when Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas revealed that after eight years of playing his onscreen character, he is leaving Emmerdale.
The rumours began after a source hinted he's leaving the show following his I'm A Celeb appearance, at the time they told The Sun: "Adam’s had a great time but he’s spent eight years in the Dales and thinks the time is right.
"It’s a headache for bosses as he’s a recognisable face, especially after I’m A Celebrity."

The actor then dismissed the rumours in a cryptic tweet where he wrote: "Don't believe everything you read people 🙈"
However Emmerdale's Series Producer Iain MacLeod, then confirmed that the 30-year-old star is leaving the ITV soap later this year. In a statement from ITV, he said: "Everyone will be really gutted to see Adam go! He's a top bloke and a really talented actor.
"But he's given us a lot of notice, so we've been able to prepare a huge exit story for him."
Eek!
Iain added: "I'm really excited to see it play out on screen - however sad it will be to wave goodbye to such a brilliant character and cast member."
Although Adam is said to be leaving later this year, there's good news in store for Emmerdale fans as it has been confirmed that Adam Barton will not be killed off later this year.

This definitely will come as a relief because in the past year, viewers have had to say goodbye to a few of Adam's onscreen family members. They've said goodbye to Adam's sister Holly, his dad James, his stepmum Emma and his cousin Finn.
So we're very relieved that he's could return in the near future.
Confirming the exciting news that we haven't seen the last of Adam, Natalie J. Robb who plays his onscreen mum Moira, said: "They’re keeping the door open so hopefully he’ll pop back at some point.
"He’s like a son to me. I’m really going to miss him."

We sure do hope he'll return to the Dales but for now we're left wondering what's in store for Adams in the upcoming weeks…
