Last night Emmerdale viewers discovered that Moira murdered Emma Barton
Emmerdale is drama packed at the moment and things are set to get even more intense in tonight's episode as Adam Barton is arrested for murdering Emma, even though his mum Moira is the true killer.
Yesterday, fans of the ITV soap saw flashbacks from the day the evil villain was infamously pushed off the viaduct. In a shocking turn of events, it came to light that Laurel Thomas and Bob Hope had a one-night stand, Ross tried to get his mum to commit suicide and Emma Barton's murderer was finally unveiled.

After opening up to Cain Dingle, Moira finally admitted that she was the person who killed Emma. In a flashback scene, Moira pushed the villain after she taunted her about Holly Barton's death last year.
However in a shocking turn of events Adam Barton, who is played by Adam Thomas, will be arrested for killing Emma in tonight's episode.
A source explained: "The whodunnit surrounding Emma’s death has been going on for weeks and months but just as viewers think they’ve come to a conclusion the rug will be pulled out from under them."
They continued to tell The Sun: "Last night they saw Moira confess her crimes, but the police are confident they’ve got the right suspect in Adam despite the fact it’s actually his mother’s doing.
"This is how Adam will leave the soap to pursue other projects as he goes down for the crime."
Eek!
Earlier this year it was confirmed that after eight years of being on the ITV soap Adam has quit Emmerdale to pursue other opportunities.
Adam's shock arrest comes after Natalie J Robb (who plays Moira) confirmed she's not leaving the show. She told Metro: "I have just signed another year, so you have another year of me yet! Robert Sugden has killed, but he is still here!"
