Robron fans are not very happy with Emmerdale bosses right now, as it was revealed Robert Sugden is being lined up to cheat on his shiny, new husband, Aaron Dingle, with Rebecca White. Again. Robert starts next week telling Rebecca he's worried as he's not been allowed to see Aaron in prison after some sort of incident.
Robert and Aaron married in each other in last month with Robert promising that he would stay faithful to his new husband. Aaron has just started a 12-month sentence in prison for attacking Kasim Sabet last year.
Robert later discovers that Aaron has been using drugs inside - and is even more hurt when he lies about the situation.
On Friday, Robert pleads with Aaron to give up the drugs, but Aaron says it's too late. Robert leaves the prison, crushed, when Aaron says he's no use to him. Back in the village, Robert starts drinking heavily and trashes the room. He then texts Rebecca - who's on a date with Ross - and asks her to come to the cottage. She does and Robert leans in to kiss her...NOOOOOOOO Robert!
Rebecca has already tried to get her claws back into her ex-brother-in-law once already, when she planted a kiss on him last year. It didn't go to plan as Robert confessed he was in love with Aaron. The pair had already had an affair when Robert was married to Rebecca's sister, Chrissie.
This was followed up by another kiss - only this time Robert responded. Then he informed her that he'd only done it to confirm there was nothing between them anymore. Is that still the case?
But looking at the teaser storylines, maybe Robert and Rebecca aren't as ancient history as everyone thought.
