Emmerdale fans have been speculating about the identity of the mystery woman in the Dingle barn – and have come up with an amazing theory.

While most people thought the newcomer was Faith – long-lost mum of Chas and Cain – some Twitter users weren’t convinced.

In fact, they thought the brunette lady could actually be ANDY SUGDEN. Yes, Andy Sugden of huge arm muscle fame.

The hilarious theory came after viewers watched Mystery Lady interact with little Sarah Sugden, leading them to believe she could be Sarah’s father.

One fan said: "What if the women that we all think is Faith is actually Andy? we know he can pull a woman disguise #emmerdale #robron."

Another added: "Andy Sugden is now a woman? #Emmerdale."

Andy fled from the village last year after being framed by his ex, Chrissie White, for shooting Lawrence Wright.

But since then, Chrissie’s son Lachlan has been found guilty of the crime, paving the way for Andy Sugden to return to the village.

Or could that be MANDY SUGDEN?
