Emmerdale fans are set to be disappointed when the show gets cancelled TWICE next month while ITV airs the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The channel will cancel two half hour slots at seven and eight pm on Thursday 14 November – but bosses have promised bumper hour long episodes on Tuesdays starting from Tuesday 5th.
The soap definitely has some of the most exciting storylines on telly at the moment, with the secret affair between Moira Barton and Nate Robinson finally being exposed in explosive scenes earlier this month.
Things were set to become even more shocking when it was revealed that Nate was in fact Cain Dingle’s son – and had known the truth the entire time he’d been sleeping with his step-mum.

Corrie's Katie McGlynn reveals she gained a stone filming Sinead Tinker's harrowing cancer scenes
It’s not the first time our fave shows have been cancelled because of the footie.
Back in March, both Emmerdale and Coronation Street were cancelled for FOUR WHOLE DAYS so that ITV could air England’s Euro qualifier against the Czech Republic, and fans were fumin’.
And who could forget last year when England, for the first time in decades, made it as far as the semi-finals in the football world cup and the whole of TV was completely dominated by the tournament?
Corrie, Emmerdale AND EastEnders on BBC1 were chopped and changed on a number of occasions, with producers making up for the lost shows by piling on hour long episodes instead.
Despite the change obviously running our lives forever, we’ve still got plenty to look forward to coming up in the Dales, as Moira tries her hardest to convince Cain to give her a second chance, and Cain moves on by sleeping with Kerry Wyatt.
