Phil Mitchell has always been known as being tough, brave and a man on a mission.

But things changed when he found out that he has a deadly liver disease and viewers have seen Phil’s health deteriorate even further, to the point where Phil collapsed trying to save his son Ben who faced grave danger after he was kidnapped.

Now fans are left wondering whether a liver transplant is the only answer for Phil, esepcially as we know that without one he will definitely die.

He was told he "didn’t have long left" so we’re hoping residents will be willing to donate their kidney to save Phil.

Here's a round up of who we think might donate their liver:

Ben Mitchell

Phil is his dad, so we definitely think Ben would offer to donate his liver even though they've had a troubled relationship. Mitchell blood is thicker than anything, right?

We know he’s been through a lot; his boyfriend Paul Coker tragically died and he's struggling to come to terms with it all.

And we doubt he’ll want to lose anyone else close to him this year.

Louise Mitchell

Louise is still Phil’s daughter and we think she might want to donate her liver to save her dads life - if no one else comes forward, of course.

Jay Brown

Jay and Phil’s relationship has been non-existent ever since everyone discovered Jay’s girlfriend Linzi was in fact 14-years-old.

To make amends and start a relationship back with Phil, would Jay be willing to donate his kidney?

Grant Mitchell

Will Grant save his brother?

The pair have always been the infamous Mitchell brothers, and we definitely don’t want to see it end any time soon.

Sharon Mitchell

Will Sharon step in to save her husband?

Ronnie or Roxy Mitchell

They are cousins with Phil and considering they’re both leaving the show we’re wondering whether they’ll do a good deed before they wave bye to Walford?

Dot Branning

Dot has a good heart (which can be debatable considering she killed her son) but will Dot step up and save Phil’s life?
