Sylvie Carter is set to make her dramatic entrance and there are family secrets just bursting to come out.
Regular viewers will know by now that Shirley is not Mick’s sister but his mum, which makes Sylvie his grandmother.
Also it was recently teased that Mick’s dad could be Buster, not Stan. Of course, Mick doesn’t know any of this.
Which is why the arrival of his ‘mother’ could turn his world upside down.

There’s also the more sinister fact that, when it eventually comes out that Dean raped her, his wife Linda could be carrying his niece or nephew.
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said recently: “Sylvie’s return is going to open old wounds in the Carter family.
“Watching Linda Marlowe [Sylvie], Annette Badland [Aunt Babe], Ann Mitchell [Cora Cross] and Timothy West [Stan] go for it on screen is going to be electric.”
Sylvie’s first appearance in the soap will be early December, so it looks like it’s going to be an explosive Christmas for the Carters.
