Easgle-eyed - or should that be eagle-eared - EastEnders fans noticed Michelle Fowler name drop Kelvin Carpenter on last night's (Thursday 9th February) episode during a conversation with her brother, Martin.
Viewers then saw Martin hunt Kelvin down on an unnamed social media outlet and send him a message on 'Chelle's behalf. This, of course, got everyone wondering if Kelvin could also be making a comeback to Walford.
For those of you too young to remember Kelvin (Paul Medford) - who lived on the Square between 1985 and 1987 - he was mates with Michelle, Sharon Mitchell, Ian Beale and Simon Wicks. He was a bit of a ladies' man too - romancing both 'Chelle and Shazza.
But, if this were Big Brother and we were making a VT of Kelvin's best bits, there is only one real contender. And that's this.
In a rather amazing EastEnders/Real Life crossover, Kelvin, Sharon, Michelle, Ian and Simon all formed a band called The Banned for a storyline that featured a battle of the bands (bear with us here.)
Real-life actors Paul and Letitia Dean (who plays Sharon) then released a track called Something Outa Nothin' FOR REALS. We know. It actually reached a not-too-shabby number 12 in the UK charts so Tish and Paul got to perfrom on Top of the Pops.
These days Paul co-owns a model agency and has a succesful theatre career. Will EastEnders bosses be able to tempt him back to Walford?
