After getting set up by Tiff, Whitney finds herself on a romantic date
Since being dumped by rubbish boyfriend Woody, Whit’s love-life has been non-existent. However her little sis, Tiff, can’t help noticing that there seems to be a spark between Whit and newcomer Halfway.
Halfway, whose real name is Callum Highway and who is a buddy of Whit’s ex Lee, has seemed pretty smitten with Whitney ever since he’s started working behind the bar of the Vic and so cheeky Tiff decides to do some match-making.
She invites Whitney to the Vic for lunch but when her older sibling arrives she finds Halfway there instead.
Whit’s a little taken aback to see Lee’s mate sat in the corner, nervously clutching a bunch of flowers. That's the same mate who shot Mick during the bungled heist! (But hey, all is forgiven).
And she's slightly lost for words when she sees the trouble he has gone to: a bottle of champers on ice, a cordoned off area complete with red rope and some dodgy chandelier candle holder, (hmm, maybe a MORE romantic idea would have been to go somewhere Whit didn't associate with pulling pints, breaking up fights and serving bags of Cheese and Onion but hey ho, we’ll give him marks for effort).
Whitney can’t help feeling miffed to realise she’s been set up her meddling sibling, but soon settles in and is knocking back her flute of champers.
As she and Halfway get chatting, it’s clear there’s an attraction but is Halfway a little too full on?
Could this be the start of something special or will Whit kick Halfway into touch halfway through their date?
