Unfortunately for Ian – and for scared Cindy – there isn’t time to get her to the hospital, and she ends up going into labour at home.

An insider told the Daily Star: “[Cindy] really is the last person [Ian] wants to see and he reacts angrily at her arrival. Ian is oblivious to the fact that she’s having contractions.

There's no time to get her to the hospital - so she goes into labour right there!

“She tried her best to conceal what’s going on but after a little while she can’t take any more and collapses in pain. She tells Ian the baby is coming and there’s nothing he can do about it.”

Fellow Walford teenager TJ Spraggan is the father of the child, but he will be unaware that Cindy has returned and is having the baby.

The scenes will air on BBC One a week on Thursday.
