WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) and Charlie Cotton (Christopher Hancock) seemed like they were about to embark on their very own 'happily after together'; they've fallen in love, she's carrying his baby and grandma Dot Cotton (June Brown) even gave him an engagement ring to pop the question with.
But, when he asked Ronnie to marry him in last night's (Monday 20 October) episode, he absolutely could not have expected her response.

That's right!
Still under the impression that Charlie's a policeman (he's actually a cleaner at a retirement home - go figure), Ronnie hesitantly told Charlie one of her biggest secrets ever.
And, in tonight’s episode, viewers will see her planning to flee Albert Square, fearing that he could arrest her.

Despite being shocked by Ronnie's big confession, Charlie later tries to stop her from leaving after some words of advice from Dot make him realise that his relationship is worth fighting for.
With Ronnie still adamant that she has to leave the Square, Nick Cotton's son is left in a bit of a pickle - should he come clean to his baby mama and tell her he's not a copper?
And, if he does, will she ever be able to trust him again?
We guess we'll just have to wait and see...
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight (October 21) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
