The Beale family are set to receive more bad news on EastEnders next week, when police inform Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Peter (Ben Hardy) that the murder investigation has stalled once again.

Downhearted that the person responsible for his twin sister's death still hasn't been brought to justice, Peter seeks solace in girlfriend Lola.

But, when she fails to see his point of view, Peter turns to Lauren instead.
Knowing how much they have in common, Peter kisses Lauren and tells her that he loves her… but does Jacqueline Jossa's character, who recently enjoyed a fling with Dean Wicks, feel the same?
Whatever Lauren decides, Peter's change of heart doesn't bode well for Lola.
He decides that he needs to end his relationship with the teenage mum (Danielle Harold), leaving her devastated.

Despite her insistence that she doesn't want the relationship to end, Peter calls it a day.
Does this mean that Lola will, as many viewers believe, wind up in a romantic relationship with best friend Jay?
After all, it may be the only thing that stops the rumoured Lucy Beale killer (following THAT incriminating CCTV footage) fromm moving to Manchester with current girlfriend Abi.

But, when he later informs Lauren that he has broken up with Lola, it remains unclear as to whether Lauren will give her childhood sweetheart another chance.
