Walford's resident hard man Phil may have a big problem on his hands when the new guys comes in, and it will be harder for him to run the Square.

Karl Howman has revealed he is joining EastEnders, and that he's already started filming scenes for some big story lines.
He told The Sun: "It's an honour to have joined such an iconic show. I've had a lovely welcome.
"The twists and turns, character and plots that are coming make it all the more exciting for me."

Karl first scenes will air in November, and producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: "His appearance on the Square will open old wounds and reunite old passions."
And Karl isn't the only new character on his way to EastEnders: it was also announced this week that Linda Marlowe will join as Sylvie Carter, mum of Shirley and Tina.

Speaking of her new role, Dominic said: "Sylvie's return is going to open old wounds in the Carter family."
Viewers found out earlier this year that, while he thinks Sylvie is, Shirley is Mick's mum, not his brother.
