An EastEnders insider revealed: “The gun that has been doing the rounds in Walford has ended up in Shirley’s hands and by the end of the day, it will have been fired.
"But who fires it, and who at, remains to be seen.”

All we know is that one resident will be left fighting for their life, presumably sending them to the very same hospital in which Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is coming to terms with her devastating burns.
One thing's for sure, the families of both the victim and the culprit will be left devastated by the far-reaching consequences of the shooting.
The day itself will play out over five instalments of the BBC1 soap, kicking off on Friday and running throughout next week.
