Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) is currently on a mission to track down her long-lost dad after learning he’s a Walford resident.

But, while she’s busy convincing herself that her biological dad is Pete Beale, it turns out someone ELSE on Albert Square is going to be paid a visit by their old pa.

Namely, Mick Carter.

Yup, that’s right; Buster - aka the REAL father of Mick (Danny Dyer) and Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) - is returning to EastEnders in the next few weeks.

And he has a very surprising proposition for old flame Shirley (Linda Henry).

Teasing the storyline, soap boss Dominic Treadwell—Collins said previously: “You've already met daddy - Buster Briggs played by the amazing Karl Howman.

“He's coming back for the next chapter of this story. He needs to see his two sons and we'll see how that's going to affect Mick and Shirley.”

He added excitingly: “There's a whole new era for Shirley coming up next year, which is really exciting.”

We can’t wait to see how Phil Mitchell will cope with another bald hardman in his territory!
