EastEnders spoilers: Denny FINALLY returns for shocking domestic violence story

As many avid EastEnders fans will be aware of, Sharon's son was sent upstairs to his room several months ago - and he hasn't come back down since.

But now, after weeks of people campaigning to #FindDenny on Twitter, it seems as if the boy with the flaxen locks is back.

Although, this time, he’s out of control.

Yup, with Sharon's partner Phil still away from Walford, she finds herself arguing with her young son in the red-faced mechanic's absence.

But little Denny leaves Sharon stunned when he violently lashes out, leaving her with bloody scratches on her face.

Letitia Dean’s character then rushes over to the home of good friend Ian Beale, knowing she can find solace there.

And Ian, being father to a troubled child himself (Bobby Beale IS a murderer, after all), proves to be a great source of comfort for his childhood friend.

The pair soon wind up taking a trip down memory lane following a lead on the identity of Sharon’s biological father, but the conversation soon takes an unexpected twist when Jane arrives.

Turns out, Dennis has been in a LOT of trouble at school recently - and Jane knows all about it.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens next, but, suffice to say, both Mr & Mrs Beale wind up consoling Sharon over her troublesome son - not to mention her (slightly questionable, given Denny’s recent absence from our screens!) parenting skills.

Feeling better, Sharon then returns home… only to discover that Phil Mitchell is back.

And he has his feet well and truly under the table.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Friday, March 27 at 8pm on BBC One.
