EastEnders fans can start celebrating as it's been revealed that Danny Dyer's Mick Carter will be back behind the bar in two weeks
It feels like a lifetime ago that Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) dashed off to Bulgaria to be by the side of his daughter, Nancy, who was involved in a car crash whilst travelling. In real life, writers had to find a clever way to write out Danny Dyer who was signed off work with exhaustion - right in the middle of a Carter family crisis.
But we can reveal that Mick fans only have to wait two more weeks to see their hero cross the threshold of the Queen Vic once more. YAY!
And with all the money drama that's been going on with the Carters since Mick was last on-screen in March, it's about time he returned to sort things out.
Since Mick left the pub, Shirley and Linda have sold the freehold of the Vic, Lady Di nearly had to be put down and, somehow, Lee Ryan from Blue is running the joint. It's like a very strange nightmare.
Anyway, Mick is back on May 19th and fans are already speculating about why the writers sent him to Bulgaria - and not to Watford where his wife Linda is currently looking after her sick mum.
Some reckon it's because the Mick and Whitney affair storyline is still well and truly gonna happen. It would be too weird to send Mick to Watford for two months, only to come back and hook up with Whitney.
Whatever happens, Mick's return is going to be explosive. Let's hope he sends Woody on his way and somehow gets the pub freehold back. #TeamMick
